ABOUT US

When Daniel was 2 years old, he was diagnosed with Autism. It’s part of what makes Daniel who he is. He’s not afraid to be himself. He loves to draw, make home movies, watch cartoons and eat lots of pizza. His joy is infectious, and it touches everyone around him.

When Daniel was 11, we started b-who-u-r t-shirts; a brand with the goal to encourage everyone to be themselves. Daniel provided all the art for the shirts, and we donated part of the proceeds to schools and organizations with programs for those with disabilities.

Once we learned how to make tees, we started making them for others. We started Speedy Bee Tees, a company that prints custom apparel for every occasion. We had so much fun doing that that we kept at it, and we now print apparel for groups across the US.

As Daniel has grown and changed, so has our mission. Being who you are is great, but why not be the best version of yourself? Why not inspire others to be all they can be?

Thus, Bee Able was born. We aim to empower those with disabilities to achieve

greater independence, opportunity and freedom through employment, sports

and life skills. Each of our orders is packed and shipped by the Bobby Dodd

Institute, a non-profit organization based out of Atlanta, Georgia, that not only

hires adults with disabilities but also provides job and career training programs,

family support, benefits navigation, and counseling services.

All in all, we’ve taken Daniel’s art and witty humor and adjusted it to do just that. It’s Daniel.

It’s joyful. It’s Apparel that Empowers. Join us in the Bee Able revolution!
